Retractable Ladders



 

 This retractable ladder collapses to look like drainpipe which helps to prevent unauthorized access. The retractable ladder can be designed to go as high as 300ft and opened is only 24" wide with a 14" wide safety rail. Patented opening mechanism to prevent unauthorized use. Stiles are extruded from 6063-T6 alloy: non-slip tubular rungs are formed from 6005-T5 and T6 aluminum alloy. Fasteners are made of stainless steel. The wall brackets are adjustable and are hole punched 1/2" expansion bolt (provided) or others dependant on exterior construction. It is UL listed IBCO and BOCA approved and also meets ANSI and OSHA standards.

  • Deployment handles at each point of access; stainless steel counterbalance springs; requiring less than five pounds of force to deploy.              
  • Maintenance-free
  • Support 1,000 lbs. per rung individually; 200 lbs per 6 feet of length simultaneously.
  • Ground support of gravity loads; building wall support for lateral stability.
  • Easy to install; two men approximately three hours.
  • Balcony is shipped unassembled and takes two men two hours to install.
  • Can be left hand or right handed.
  • 10 year warranty.
  • Customer height up to 300ft.
